It is relatively common for follicles on the ear to become plugged and develop into pimples.  It is only worrisome if the "pimple" is a sore that does not heal and go away after a couple of weeks.

Pimple: Warm towel soaks may help. Retin -a cream helps decrease pimples  . See a dermatologist who may inject the area with corticosteroid or drain the area. At times , oral antibiotics are prescribed.

I do not know: Tough to tell over the computer.  Keep it clean if it is bleeding and try not to touch it often.  use topical antibiotic creams to help prevent any infection and see the Doctor if it does not go away on its own.
