Yes.: Its a bit odd I know but there is cross over in the lymphatics. Is it tender? If not or you have any doubts at all have it biopsied by your Primary Care Provider.

Parotid duct: possible calcified stone or blockage of parotid duct if in cheek. Visit a dentist to confirm and treat

Likely not related: Scalp patches likely not related. After sinus infection ex. Or sore throat (viral, bacterial) lymph nodes may grow. If they persist after a few weeks consider evaluation for ex. Lymphoma.

Not necessary.: If the lymph node is that small, not to worry.  It will likely go away within a few days or a couple of weeks.  You only need to see a doctor if it doesn't go away or continues to enlarge.

Lymph node: It possible that it is a lymph nodes. But need to know what is the reason for this nodes. With Scabies your head will be very itch, scaly scalp can cause it too, and fungal infection as well. But absolutely not related to Flu shot.

Already there?: If it's not growing it could be a scarred lymph node from a previous infection that went unnoticed.  To be safe have it checked out.

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad  like bacteria, viruses, cancers, etc.  When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.

Infection : Folliculitis, a furuncle, or hidradenitis suppurativa are all infections that can cause these symptoms. They can be treated with a combination of oral antibiotics and incision and drainage if necessary. Consult a dermatologist to evaluate and treat this.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Swollen lymph nodes can occur in areas where there is skin inflammation. If the pimple you are referring to is somewhat large or inflamed, it could cause local lymph node swelling. If this is the case, once the pimple subsides, the lymph node will also. This can sometimes take 4-6 weeks.
