It can: Emergency contraception symptoms can include spotting or bleeding, changes in menstrual flow or your period may be late or early.  It can also lead to nausea, abdominal pain, breast tenderness, dizziness. If your period is more than a week late take a home pregnancy test and follow up with your medical provider / gynecologist.

Pregnancy test: If you had sex since your last period, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex.

Irregular menses: As you stopped the pill 3 months ago, by this time, menses would be expected to have become regular, but all patient's bodies are unique.  It also is important to be evaluated to investigate if there is something interfering in your menstrual cycle regularity. Please do return to your ob/gyn and get evaluated if this continues next month or if there is unusual bleeding or pain associated.
