i have a small lump on inside of my outer vagina lips, next to the clit on the left side. it looks like a pimple, its painful to touch, and moves. what is this?

Cyst: This sounds like a cyst which may be infected. These are quite common for women. Treatment for now would be warm compresses to the area (wet washcloth with very warm water and hold on area) 3-5x/day for at least 10 min each time. i have a small pimple on my inner vagina lips its light pink and a little tender to touch. not really painful. it was a little harder yesterday, but this morning i spotted some blood coming out of it. it now feels softer. what could this be? thanks?

: A cyst would be more likely than a blister here. Have your MD or gynecologist examine you if a hard or tender lump fills up again,bleeds again or doesn't fully resolve.

Could be abscess : The area where you are describing is located near glands that lubricate your vaginal area. Bartholins glands are pea sized and lubricate the vagina. They can become blocked and inflamed leading to abscess. Try warm baths to soak and pain relievers. If this is not working get into be examined to see if they need further care

Not serious: Pimple anywhere is uncomfortable  but seldom serious. The treatment is the same. Let it form and have it lanced if it doesn't break open and drain on it's own. If the infection seems to be spreading or the pain worsening then you need to see a gynecologist for help and or antibiotics.

CYST: Lumps in 'pelvic area' are common. A sweat gland can become clogged forming a sebaceous cyst. These cysts can become infected and painful. If the 'lump' is toward the bottom of the vagina--you could have a Bartholin's cyst (another 'blocked gland'). Another cause of 'lumps' is a lymph node. The concern here: a possible std --so it best to get seen by your gyn/primary care. Hope you are better!

I would recommend: that you have it looked at by your primary care doctor or gynecologist. It sounds like it could be an infected Bartholin cyst. Meanwhile soak in a warm tub or apply warm compresses to the area.
