my wife & i returned from norway week ago. she discovered a rash/injury just above her left ankle. where can i send pictures to get opinion of cause?

Rash: A rash can be like baskin robbins or ben and jerry's....It comes in at least 31 different flavors. Best thing to do is to get in to your primary doctor for evaluation or the best thing is to see a dermatologist, but they tend to have a very long wait list just for a basic rash that might be gone or might have spread by the time they get around to her appointment.

what causes a strained muscle feeling at the top behind the eye and occasional pain on movement? the strained sensation is like the burning of an ankle sprain. i also have dry eyes and apparently no abrasions.

Eye or Sinus: Does your eye look irritated or red, especially underneath the upper eyelid? If so, you may have a type of inflammatory surface reaction called superior limbic keratitis. If the eye looks normal, then the problem may be an inflamed eye muscle (orbital myositis), or sinus infection (there are sinuses on all sides of the eye socket except the outer side, and sinus pain can feel like eye pain)

how can i treat and healing time for leg abrasion?

Simple Care: The real question is what not to do that slows down healing. Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, Hibiclens, Betadine, and bleach solutions. Inflammation ( red, hot, swollen, tender) is important to healing  so anti-inflammatories (Motrin, Advil) are bad. Cover the area with a clean dressing changed every other day  and protected from trauma.  Antibiotics do not help healing unless it is truly infected.

Abscess?: I am afraid a picture of your wound will not help you. If the wound is not healing, you need to see a physician to diagnose its cause and formulate a treatment plan to heal it. A non-healing wound can be due to a serious problem. Get help at an ER or physician's office as soon as possible. Good luck.

Ankle and leg: Are you having pain in the ankle too? Any injury, twisting? 
Are you a smoker? Take birth control? Had a blood clot prior to now?

If the swelling came on without injury and involved lower leg, calf, I would want you to be seen by a doctor.

how does kaposi's sarcoma and normal leg abrasion differ from one another?

See picture: Kaposi's sarcoma: "the tumors most often appear as bluish-red or purple bumps on the skin".                                     Abrasion is superficial scrapings of(damage to )the skin.

Leg bigger : This is an interesting observation, I would like to address it well. Can you be specific, in what way is one leg bigger? Length, girth, thigh, leg ?

can a fiberglass cast on your leg leave bruises and abrasions?

Maybe: Bruising usually not caused by a cast, more often the result of the injury of surgery that caused you to need a cast in the first place.  If the fiberglass is sharp at the top or bottom of the cast in can cause abrasions.
