Hematoma- blood coll: Hematoma is collection of blood somewhere in the body...anywhere in the body....it's called a hematoma.  Parietal tells us the location (Parietal lobe of the brain) usually due to high blood pressure while Subdural hematoma means collection of blood below the level of the DURAL cover of the covering of the brain called the meninges...often times traumatic cause but also often can be spontaneous.

Depends on size: It really depends on the size of the bleed, how long it has been there, and whether the bleeding is causing pressure effects.  Small bleeds with no pressure effects are managed with rest and avoidance of a second impact.  Larger bleeds may require decompression via a burr hole or craniotomy with evacuation of the bleed. Blood thinner medications may be discontinued to prevent ongoing bleeding.

Varies : It varies in part based on the severity of your symptoms and also your initial response.  It is fairly common to go 3/ week for 6 weeks and then transition to a home program.  But everyone is different and so it is based upon individual progress.

Difficult: This is a tough one.  Itb symptoms can be very difficult to treat and often times persistent pt and time are the best answer.  Topical nsaids such as voltaren gel or Flector Patch (diclofenac) may help.  Consider massage therapy.  Tens units (electrical stimulation) sometimes help.  Lastly, local steroid injections are an option as well.

Shop around: If you are paying out of pocket for pt shop around for the best care with the cost being a consideration. The referring doctor should be able to refer you to several different therapy places they have sent patients to before. "thousands" implies the cost for 4 hours is at least $2000 meaning 500/hour that seems a bit steep ( to be diplomatic). ;-).

: Unfortunately, there is no treatment for this condition.
Orthovisc injection helps the joint moving with less pain but it does not melt the osteophytes.
