Transition lenses: Each have different properties. One is protecting from sun and UV rays ie transitions. Anti reflective lens is great for night driving as if reflects the light of oncoming cars. However it needs special careful handling.  There are good ARC coatings which are pricier and the cheap ones that scale off easily leVing a dirty looking lens.  Ask the Optician for the best ARC and you'll be pleased

Plastic lenses: These are eyeglass lenses made of a plastic which will bend light more than the usual plastic .  Because of this, a thinner lens is possible and has the advantage, being plastic, of being lightweight although somewhat susceptible to scratching.

Easy: Place the contact in the palm of your hand.  Cover it with contact lens solution.  Rub with your finger for 15 seconds.  Flip it over and repeat.  Place it in your contact lens case with new solution.

Lighter, etc.: Plastic lenses are a comfort especially in high power needs for eyeglasses as they are  lighter in weight for a given power.  They are, however, less durable and can scratch in normal use.  These factors can be eweighted in the udee

Yes: These are high index eyeglass lense materials which allow a thinner eyeglass and for a given power of lens, are lighter than glass or ordinary plastics.  This is helpful to the nose which would otherwise have to support a heavier lense.

Ask the prescriber: i would sk whoever fit the lenses as to the best way to care for them.  If they were bought over the internet I would be very hesitant about wearing them.  If not fit or worn properly they could cause damage to your eyes and vision.

Could be: These come in many sizes and some will have a large diameter.  Depends upon your needs.

Probably OK: Contact lenses are released after careful design and clinical trials.  They should be comfortable, stable and give good vision.  Most succeed in this and can be considered in this case to be effective.  If you have discomfort or poor vision, then you need a refit.
