is it harmful to drink on lexapro? i cant tell if youre not supposed to b/c its actually dangerous to your body to mix or for fear that it makes the medication not work. generally drink once or twice a month, average 2 or 3 drinks on a night out?

: It is not an absolute contraindication but alcohol can potentiate the side effects of lexapro and vice versa.

is is ok if i took a tetracycline hydrochloride pill one hour after drinking tea (instant honey-ginger drink with soursop)? i have read that tea and medication do not mix?

wondering if i can mix 3.5ml amox-clav into her bottle of whole dairy milk to ensure she drinks the antibiotic? i put about 4oz. of milk. she is 1 y/o, recently was great at drinking her medication but now has been refusing and spurts it out!

Less milk is better: If a liquid medicine for kids does not say something like "do not take with milk or dairy" on it, a parent can mix it with a little bit of milk, maybe 1-2 ounces. AFTER the child drinks all that, the parent can offer the rest of the milk or meal. That's to avoid the situation of a child drinking only 3 ounces of a 4-ounce bottle (that got mixed with medicine) and getting only 3/4 of her medicine.

Moderation: Like anything moderation is the key. You may be taking other medications which may be problematic with alcohol. Talk it over with your physician or pharmacist.

my bf has eplipsey he is on medication for it he is also drinking at the weekends he is mixing drink wth medication what will happen to him ?

Avoid alcohol use: Alcohol can at times exacerbates some of the side effects of anti-epileptics  as well as lower the threshold for seizures themselves. I would recommend avoiding alcohol use as it could precipitate seizures and perhaps leading to further injuries and poorly managed epilepsy.

That is not uncommo.: Sometimes cold beverages cause a response from the part of the nervous system that effects the heart.

Not recommended. : Steroids make the body fight a disease process but also makes it easier to develop an ulcer of the stomach. 
Would not do this while taking prednisone

Depends: It depends on the medication. Different medications have different metabolism patterns, time to clear out of the body, and interactions with alcohol.

Tinnitus: Are you on any Aspirin products as this is a common side effect of Aspirin products?

Clarify: Does your  question  mean "can you drink (alcohol) near sleep..." , if so, it really depends on what medication you are on. Generally,  we do not promote alcohol consumption with meds because of either decreasing or increasing the action of the med you are taking.
