what is the definition or description of: petrolatum diaper ointment allergy?

Contact dermatitis: is a condition where the skin turns red and itchy as a result of contact with a chemical or protein, considered the allergen.   A diaper ointment allergy would be specific for the genital area that is covered by diapers in a child or incontinent adult.  Petroleum ointment  has very low protein and  irritant potential, so it would be an unlikely cause of an allergic reaction.

Grapeseed oil: Grapeseed oil in conjunction with glycerin can be used as a nasal moisturizer. Saline gel also works nicely.

Dermatologist helps: If a person has what she feels are side effects or overly strong effects of a medication used on skin, hair, or nails, the specialist who can advise most completely would be her dermatologist. If a referral from her primary care doctor is first needed (for insurance reasons), she can see her primary care doctor first. Maybe there is an alternative to the retinoid.
