A lot of things: The female pelvis is complex. These symptoms can be gynecologic (ovarian cysts, infections, early pregnanacy), urologic ( bladder infection, interstitial cystitis), gastrointestinal (colitis, virus), musculoskelatal, or even related to your back. No jump start: Unfortunately, there is no way to jump-start a woman's menstrual cycle and ovulations, after she comes off of Depot Provera. It can take up to a year for cycles to beoome regular again.

Likely too soon: Hpt starts turning positive a week to ten days after missed period. Blood test is more sensitive and may turn positive 2-3 days after missed period.

Ovulation generally: Occurs 12- 14 days before the next period. Usually: Even having one ovary removed the other ovary normally takes over ovulation every month within a short period of time. If you're continuing to have difficulty conceiving then an evsluation is necessary to rule out the potential of scar tissue in the pelvis from the ectopic pregnancy.

: There is really no safe period. Conception has occurred on any day of a woman's cycle including during menses. It is less likely during some days but always possible. Risk of pregnancy is small but not zero.

An egg is released (ovulation) approximately 2 weeks (range 10-16 days) before the 1st day of the next menses.  For example, if the cycle is 28 days (4 weeks) long, then ovulation should occur around day 14, or 2 weeks before day 1 of the next menses.
