Possibly infection: Bleeding after sex is probably not related to the Depo-Provera shot.  Your cervix may be irritated from a vaginal or cervical infection.  Some of these infections tend to flareup after sex, due to the man's semen raising the vaginal ph.  See your doctor for an exam.

Can repeat in 1 week: Pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.

3 to 12 months: After stopping deposit overs it can take up to a year for your fertility to return. Your body is just tying to figure out what it need to do.

See a doctor: You need to see your OB gyn or a fertility specialist for evaluation as this is not normal to bleed every two weeks.  Hopefully when this is fixed you will conceive quickly.

See a Doctor: Menstrual Cycles become normal in approximately 9 months to 1 year after  the last Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot wears off.

10 days bleeding is not normal. Please see a doctor

The bleeding is not: Likely due to the intercourse, the Depo-Provera can cause that on its own.  That is unless you got an infection of the cervix.  The Depo-Provera bleeding is common at first and can be remedied but call your doc and be patient, it will improve over time.  Good luck.

Normal: This is very common after getting the depo shot. You may not have a period for up to 3 months. The post-sex bleeding is likely not your period either. If this persists you should talk to your doctor.

Breakthrough bleed: Having irregular periods for up to 18 months is common. Obviously, unprotected intercourse can  lead to pregnancy so always check a pregnancy test.

You may need to see your doc and have medical treatment if the bleeding doesnt stop soon.

Last shot?: One piece of info you left out is:  how long ago was your last shot?  If it was more than 3 months ago, most of your symptoms can be explained by your own reproductive system "booting" back up after being suppressed for 6 months.  Depo suppresses estrogen production.  As your body starts making it again, you may experience some nausea..  Your body will readjust and resume cycling normally soon.

See gynecologist: If you are currently on depotprovera, then in all likelihood what you think are 3 day menstrual cycles are in all reality breakthrough bleedings and probably not exactly 4 weeks apart. The bleeding after sex could come from an ectropion on your cervix. You will need to see a gynecologist, who would need to do a speculum exam and then be able to  tell you whether or not this is the case.
