Unlikely: Bleeding throughout pregnancy is not common, and can be a sign of various impending problems.  Occasionally it will persist until term and the patient will have a delivery of a healthy infant.
Unless you both have an abnormal uterus, there's no reason to think you'll have the same problem.

Very abnormal: If you are pregnant and experiencing bleeding then this is not normal. Prompt evaluation by your obgyn is warranted. One can not have a period if pregnant. If you are seeing blood then this is  pregnancy bleeding not a period.

Yes: Could be morning sickness (or afternoon sickness, or evening sickness like my wife had).       Best to take a test.

See below: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

Pregnancy?: Well you have a missed period which the most common cause in sexually active ppl is pregnancy, see a provider to do blood test, if still negative then other causes should be ruled out.

Either way: The newer home pregnancy tests are positive within 72 hours when you be starting your next expected period.  If it's negative, wait 1 week.

You can: But it may be too early to be positive. Use a first morning specimen as the urine is usually more concentrated and therefore more likely to show a positive result  earier.

Yes: There is always a chance for pregnancy or std's with unprotected intercourse.  It is a good idea to use two methods. Barrier contraception as well as something longer acting that is not dependent on  taking a daily medication. Good long term option safe iud's and nexplanon.

Missing Pills: One does not need a physician to remind them of the well known fact that missing pills leads to immediate fertility and pregnancy.  Missing pills is common and most females have a plan in place to immediately correct the situation, take extra pills and protect themselves.
