hi i am a 25year old female and have a flap of skin from the centre of my perineum which then goes inside my anus. i haven't had any problems in the past with it but recently it really itches. any ideas? thankyou.

Skin tag: This sounds like a perianal skin tag.  These are usually innocent. If it causing you discomfort or increasing in size you should consult your doctor about having it removed.

Yeast?: A yeast infection is the best bet for symptoms like these. You could safely try one of the many OTC vaginal yeast treatments, anything with active ingredient ending in "azole" (clotrimazole, miconazole, etc). All are equally effective; you can choose the least expensive. Use the cream both in the vagina and on the irritated external area. If no response after a few days, see your doctor.

what are the symptoms of hsv in female? only have intense itching in vulva region and abit of itching on perineum. tested negative for all stds and hiv. yet to test for hsv?

: During herpes outbreaks, the lesions may itch. But herpes does not cause itching as the only symptom and is not the explanation for what you are feeling. Also, herpes symptoms always are intermittent and never last more than 10-14 days, and outbreaks occur no more often than once a month. HSV never causes continuous symptoms. Beware of HSV blood tests:  they often are very unreliable.

Vaginal itch: Vaginal itching without discharge can indicate infections like yeast or stis like herpes. It can indicate an allergic reaction to household products like certain soaps and laundry detergents. There are also some skin conditions liked lichen sclerosis which can cause vaginal itching.

Benzocaine spray: It is normal to have a little itching as the tissue heals.  Usually your doctor or midwife repairs the tear with an absorbable suture and this can cause a small itching reaction.  You can use an over the counter spray called Dermoplast or any anesthetic spray with benzocaine. If it isnt getting better see your doctor.

my perineum is achy and burns when pee. normal discharge, no itching, just irritating. is this just from rough sex monday or is there a medical issue?

Probably.: Friction is a likely cause. If it doesn't resolve promptly, you'll want to check with your doctor to be sure that something else isn't causing it.

Perineum: Simple cut in the perineum possibly related to shaving but no obvious infection redness or drainage therefore no need for further workup or antibiotics unless it worsens over the next few weeks

Overuse?: May have used the steroids for too long.  Time to get an examination by a physician to direct further care.  sooner than later to prevent further injury.
