does coal tar work for getting rid of scabies nodules off penis?

Fordyce spots: White nodules on the penis are often benign Fordyce spots that can be treated by a dermatologist if you really want them off. If this is truly scabies you do not want to be putting coal tar on your penis. See your doctor for a prescription for a scabicide since there are no OTC medications of any value. after 2 perms i am scabies free (derm check withot microscope) i have a lot of nodules on penis and that area. is it contagious and can i have sex?

It is contagious and: your penis and groin area needs to be treated for scabies also. No sextill all lesions gone.

Just a thought: but this may be a penile shaft HEMATOMA ("bruise") If so it should slowly resolve HOWEVER an in person consultation  with a UROLOGIST would not be a bad idea!

It : It depends on the nodule, is it on the skin or under the skin. If it is on the skin, is is smooth (warts vs skin tag) or is it an growth (need to rule out cancer). If the growth is under the skin (you can only feel it when you palpate deeply), it can either be a pyeronies plaque (which will 
give you a penile curvature during erection) or urethral stricure (you will have slow stream).

See below : Your signs and symptoms may be related either to the absorbable stitches (sutures) used or to the inflammatory process associated with healing. Less common would be retained pockets of smegma if the inner foreskin was not completely retracted off the outer ridge (coronal margin) of the head of the penis. In the absence of pain or purulent discharge, would address with your MD at post-op visit.

Scabicide &amp; dryness: Scabies treatments often contain a high percentage of alcohol which can be very drying to the skin, especially sensitive tissues of the face and genitals.  Hypoallergenic soaps and lotions which are pH balanced will help the skin recover more quickly, and reduce the itching that can last up to two weeks after treatment.

If you drink water: With high levels of iron in it your penis can act as a compass and attempt to point to the north -- not really.   Seriously though, there are uncommon disorders in which the penis may develop a bend in the shaft, requiring treatment. I can't tell you what is going on with your penis, but if concerned check w/your doctor and see if you need a referral to a urologist, .
