Many things: Common causes of pelvic pain/pressure are endometriosis, adhesions, fibroids, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis, and pelvic infections.  Pelvic pain can also be due to irritable bowel or bladder inflammation.  Cancer must also be considered.  See your doctor to sort out what is going on with you and to get the right treatment.

It can be: If you have painful pelvic pain, consult with your pcp, ob/gyn, or a pain physician for further evaluation.

Pelvic Pain: You may have cystitis/urinary tract infection.  Ask your doctor to have your urine checked.  Other causes of pelvic pain include pregnancy, myoma, pelvic inflammatory disease.

i will be at 27 weeks tomorrow and for 2 days have been experiencing some pelvic pain/pressure. it is not bad but uncomfortable. is this normal?

Check-in w/OB: If it's not worsening or coming in waves (like a contraction), not associated with a vaginal discharge, it's likely normal but it would be good to let your OB know about it as well.

If it is worsening, coming in waves or you do have an increased discharge with it, it would be good to see your doctor right away.

Pain and fainting: While it is not possible to make a diagnosis or give specific advice in these little text boxes, in general we take chest pressure seriously. And when there is fainting AND chest pressure that is another significant indicator. Pelvic pain may be related or unrelated.  You should see a doctor right away.

Possibly: Pain in pregnancy could be perfectly normal, but it needs to be examined. You want to do this safely. "bad" pain should certainly be evaluated by your obstetrical doctor to see if there is something you can do about it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Could be : You need to schedule follow up. Pid is a big deal. Abscesses can form requiring further treatment. See you doctor asap.
