Not usually.: The kidneys are normally seen in the abdomen. However, they can be located in the pelvis. Occaisionally we'll see a part of the kidneys depending on where they're located on a pelvic ct scan.

Abdomen AND pelvis.: The large and small bowel are seen in both the abdomen and pelvis. So to fully evaluate the GI tract, you need both.

No: Neurologic compromise from radiation requires doses at least hundreds if not thousands of times higher than CT. Also high dose radiation burns the skin before it kills nerves.

CT show more.: An ultrasound study is heavily dependent on the skills of the technologist. The us also does not typically see everything in the pelvis, particularly with regard to the bowels (colon, rectum, appendix) and does not see structures outside of the uterus or ovaries well such as lymph nodes. A ct study also can show the bones whereas this is typically not possible with us.

Yes: However, CT imaging is not appropriate for a woman who may be pregnant unless in emergency circumstances, usually trauma. The radiation from a CT can be harmful to a fetus. Most centers require a pregnancy test to be negative before they will allow a CT. If you are pregnant and you have had a CT, you should discuss this exposure with your OB doctor.

CT scan: The ct scan is one thing - the radiologist, who reads the ct scan another. Radiologists typically can interpret radiographic images the better the clinical information is that they get - in your case chronic constipation, firmness and fullness on left side of rectum.

Large prostate: Yes, the ct of the pelvis would typically include the prostate to assess enlargement.  Large prostates are fairly common and may or may not have any negative impact on patients.  If you have urinary issues, bleeding, or persistant bowel problems, you should see your doctor.

Cyst: Cystic right ovary.  It may be normal or abnormal.

Considerable: That's going to be considerable rad. Exposure, and a radiologist would be able to give you an exact dose.
After taking a detailed hx, one can certainly point towards a specific site and investigate that part. If multiple bones are thought to be affected, then i get a bonescan, and take it from there. Other tests are done as necessary.
See your orthopod or a pain specialist.

Hernias: It depends on the hernia and if contrats was taken before the scan. There are many types of hernias in different locations
