Not yet: Not yet unless your doctor recommended it as a treatment for hard stools (constipation). Juice may be started at 4 months of age but limit to max of 4 ounces. In my opinion water will always be better than juice. Specially since juice is "flavored sugar water". It does not provide any essential nutrition and abuse may lead to obesity.

No: A three month old needs milk or formula, nothing else.  That said, a fruit is a beautiful package;  it's relatively low calorie, packed with nutrients, and lots of fiber.  The perfect way to ruin this beautiful, tasty, compactly nutritious package is to juice it.  When you juice a fruit, you remove most of the fiber, most of the vitamins and nutrients, and you leave water and sugar.

Pear juice can be OK: Any real fruit juice or puree should be ok with or without a fever. The main issues to consider: 1-too much sugar can lead to diarrhea if not eating regular food too, 2-kids might replace more nutritious food w juice, 3-if you are worried about dehydration, it is important to include a salt source with the sugar.  As part of healthy diet, pear juice can be a nice source of vitamins and fiber!

Why ?: The kid has no biologic need for juices in their lifetime. An 8 wk old has not developed a sense of taste,  and does not benefit from the empty sugars in the juice. I might use this in concentrated form to help with constipation at that age but don't recommend it to infants.

Maintain hydration: Maintaining hydration in a sick infant is very important.  An electrolyte solution designed for babies such as Pedialyte would be a better option that pear juice.  Flavoring the electrolyte solution with the juice of choice is always an option.  Monitor urine output closely, and notify your pediatrician if there is more than 8-12 hours between wet diapers.

Fruits...: , and juices can certainly loosen the stool. The two real problems at this point are: (1) juices are useless - juice is just fruit with everything good thrown out, and (2) canned fruits usually have extra sugar added. I'd recommend fresh (whole, peeled or mashed) fruits only, no cans and no juices.

That's way too : Long. If your in pain, see your pcp- mild laxatives, enemas could have helped, but 11 days is too long.

Yes: Drinking lots of high sugar juice can cause diarrhea and stomach discomfort as well as affecting the color of your stool. Standard recommendations limit juice intake (of any kind) to 6-8 oz per day. In the short term, to stabilize your intestines, discontinue the juice, eat whole fruit instead, and drink plain water instead.

can drinking 2 to 3 cartons of mango punch (with mango, pear, apple & pineapple juices & mango puree) over the span of a couple of days cause bloating, gas, pain & orange colored stool? if so, how long will the issues last once you stop drinking it?

Depends: It would depend on how big those cartons are.  3 30 ml cartons (1 fluid ounce) won't cause any problems but 3 1 liter cartons (33 fluid ounces) certainly could cause these problems.   Usually, things will get better several days after you stop the juice.
