Watch and wait: If may be a lymph node. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Armpit lump: a hair follicle or lymph node may present as a lump. If it does not change in size most likely you do not have to see a doctor. If concerned make an appointment for thorough history.

Lymph node ?: Possibly a lymph node. Have a breast exam and check by your doctor. There are lymph nodes in the axilla(arm pit region). Getting smaller, probably a reactive node. They become enlarged as a response to nearby inflammation or infection. If you shave in this region, a small nick in the area can cause a response. Breasts are nearby, sometimes a sign of problem especially if it does not resolve.

May be a lymph node?: Hard to know without seeing and examining, but if not tender I'd guess it might be a lymph node. Not to be alarming, but, a swollen, non-tender, lymph node MIGHT be the sign of a more serious condition, like HIV. You should see you doctor to examine it and decide if it needs any testing or treatment.

Likely abscess: These are abscesses peobally from a blocked hair duct or a lymph node.See primary and til can get in do warm compresses 20 minutes at a time at least 3 timea a day.If can not see primary soon then urgent care.

Armpit lumps: and bumps are usually inflamed small lymph nodes or ingrown hairs causing local swelling or inflammation and/or infection. Any "lump" that persists, grows or simply does not go away (especially in a young person like yourself)should get checked and possibly biopsied.

Maybe: Hidradenitis Suppurativa. It can involve the glands of the axilla. Be examined. There is treatment with antibiotics and antibacterial soaps. Severe cases are often referred to surgery. All the best.

Could be benign but at age 38, Breast health should be considered. So see PCP for hands on examination and appropriate imaging studies if indicated. Waiting not recommended. Check it out.

Lymphadenopathy: It sounds like you have some swollen lymph nodes in your armpits.  Lymph nodes can be found all over body inside and out.  When they are swollen it can mean many things, when they are swollen and tender it narrows down the diagnosis.  Without a full history and physical exam it is hard to say what it could be, but in a 19 year old female I would always be concerned for lymphoma.  See a Dr ASAP
