Units?: I suspect there may be an error, 11x 0.9 cm aneurysm would be extremely large and likely would have ruptured.  Studies have shown that aneurysms of mean size 1.5 cm (0.3 to 4.0 cm) did not rupture over the course of eight years.  Symptomatic aneurysms, enlarging aneurysms or those exceeding 2 cm should be treated.

Its a: common "incidental" finding on an abdominal CT or MRI and it means absolutely NOTHING!

Calcified aneurysm: Most likely the aneurysm. You also likely have generalized atherosclerosis. If so discuss with your Dr. how best to stop the rushing and reverse it. Best studies were done at USC. We can do 2nd opinion and look at the CT on a CD together if you like.

aneurysms run in family.  do i need to fix this? there is a rim calcified 0.9 cm distal splenic artery aneurysm. there is some diffuse mild dilation of the entire pancreatic duct without definite ampullary mass or calcification.

Specialists: The splendid aneurysm may not need fixing now but a vascular surgeon should advise and follow you. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate the significance of mild pancreatic duct dilation which also may not need any treatment or investigation at this time. Follow-up may be recommended however.

: An asymptomatic aneurysm this size with no other major problems can be managed by close follow-up. Any abnormal finding is a cause for concern- but this can be followed up by your doc or surgeon as it should not need any immediate therapy. Good luck

Depends: There may be some variation in measurements from scan to scan based on CT slice registration and measurement technique. However, and enlarging aneurysm may be at risk of rupture. Suggest consultation with Interventional Radiology

Yes it can rupture: but less chance than non calcified splenic artery aneurysm . Calcium is deposited on the wall of artery ,. Size , progressive  increase of are the factors for intervention.

No not born with: Splenic artery had potential to rupture , especially in pregnant woman during delivery , also depend on the size , good news calcified ones like your has less chance to rupture than non calcified . Need close observation or it could be coiled safely and avoid potential complication. Speak  to your doctor and decide .
