AKA acetaminophen: Tylenol (acetaminophen) is a mild analgesic.  Mostly used as a fever reducer.  It will reduce your pain, but not quite as effective as Ibuprofen (my pain med of choice. 600 mg every 4-6 hour).  For Acetaminophen do not take more than 1, 000 mg per single dose and maximum 4, 000 mg per day for adults.  Over dosing can damage your liver.  Go see your dentist asap.  You may need antibiotics as well.

good day. my son still got 40.2 fever inspite of 3 paracetamol administered within the 24 hours. i'm putting cold towel in the forehead. is this ok?

How does he look?: I wouldn't focus on the degree of his fever, i would focus on how he looks.  Fever is a normal part of the body's way of fighting infection.  If he is really fussy, hard to arouse, not eating well, not drinking well, or not playful he needs to be evaluated.  I would also take him to be evaluated if he is a young child, less than 3 years of age.

No a good idea: If you still suffer of muscle spasms taken this drugs for 3 months without improving. Stop both and go to see a Doctor

Natural response: 38 degrees celsius is not a particularly high fever, though it might be significantly higher if you were not giving him paracetamol. Paracetamol reduces fever but does not eliminate it. Fever is the body's natural response to infection and helps the immune system fight an infection. Thus, suppressing a fever can interfere with this response and prolong an infection. Please see my comment for more:.

Dysmenorrhia : Ibuprofen  works better for dysmenorrhia  if you take 1 day before your period starts, that is if  your period is regular. You can try either one &amp; see which one works for you. Good luck.

More time: Paracetamol should be given at the proper dose at least 4 times a day and for 2-3 days.  If there are other signs of problems like a significant fever, or any drainage from the ear or severe pain an exam would be indicated.  Many ear infections will pass without antibiotics, but a doctor can always tell more by looking at the ear.

Quit Paracetamol: As all other medications of the same class called Non-Steroid Anti inflammatories; Cause Hematies destruction as well as neutro­penia, agranulo­citopenia, panci­topenia and leucopenia.

i had a paracetamol overdose 6 months ago and stayed in the hospital and i took the covid vaccine a couple weeks back if my blood and weight are good can i donate blood now or do i have to wait some more?

Read the labels: Those are combination medications, although paragrip c ingredients look safe, in a sense that there are no data confirming harm to baby at this stage, you still ought to be careful in reading the labels on any drug OTC during any stage in pregnancy and don't exceed recommended dosage and duration. If symptoms are uncontrollable see your doctor, wish you a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby
