One year!: I guess we in america will likely face the same future soon. Why don't you show up at the emergency room to get them find you a gyn.  1 month is already too long for the pain you are suffering.

hello, so i had a pap test three days ago and sex is now painful, it's almost like burning pain. what could be the cause ?

A cut in the mucosa: it is either an angry cervix and the pain happening during deep penetration when the penis touched the irritated cervix
or during the pelvic examination ,part of you mucosal lining in your vagina gut irritated, a simple cut unseen will create pain until is healed.
eventually it should go away.
if not see your GYN for proper evaluation and treatment

Infection?: You may have an infection and this may have nothing to do with the ablation. You need an exam by a clinician.

i had a pap test done on monday today being tuesday i now have a hard lump on the inside of my vagina it is painful to sit. is it from the pap?

Most likely no: Pap smear is an examination of the cervix and does include examination of the vagina and ovaries using a bimanual exam. I doubt that it would cause injury of the vaginal canal. I suggest going back to the doctor who performed it for a quick exam to make sure everything is ok.

: You need to see your Gyn for proper assessment . yeast infection is not the usual cause of PID. Pap smear is for abnormal cells in the cervix.

: Bleeding after sex can be from inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis). Presumably you had a pelvic exam with visualization of the cervix, and STD testing (especially gonorrhea and chlamydia, possible causes in women at risk for STD). "Meds to clean out uterus" suggests infection was suspected (?). Keep working with your doctor; it should be possible to learn the cause of the bleeding.

All with uterus need: The pap test is a screen for cancer cells on the uterine cervix. This can detect very early pre-cancerous lesions. Unless a woman has had a hysterectomy, which means there is no longer a cervix, an annual pap smear can be life saving.

Not always.: Many doctors will stop doing pap tests for women older than 65 or 70, as long as there is no recent history of cervical dysplasia (abnormal paps and precancerous cells), and you don't have any medical conditions that predispose you to cervical cancer, e.g. Hiv. You should still get annual exams so they can determine if everything looks normal and that a pap is still not needed. Hope this helps.
