The heart will beat, but the muscles that control breathing will stop. Breathing must be supported while the medication is in effect. Breathing is usually supported with a breathing tube and mechanical ventilation, but mask ventilation or an lma could support breathing too.

It must only be used by anesthesia personnel who can support breathing for the pt.

Yes: Just please give the medication according exactly to the dosing and weight guidelines on the package. The allergy medicine is an antihistamine. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) medication.

So if there is no exposure, no symptoms occur.
