Muscle fasciculation: Venous insufficiency surgery I assume you had in your lower extremities it does not have anything to do with the palm muscle twitching if the twitching extend further have it checked out

6 -7 months, my eyes have been twitching everyday, non-stop. recently my calves, thighs, arms, neck, palm began twitching too. not been too stressed and getting enough sleep. problematic as twitching really disgusts me and i'm unable to concentrate.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, if feasible consult a neurologist.

is it common to get pinky and side of palm tremors and twitching?

Accepted Answer

If occasionally: People have some twitching of the adductor digity minimy which will move the little finger away from the rest of the fingers. It feels like twitching or spasm, and this is not unusual.  If constant u should have it evaluated by initially by ur pcp, if not see a neurologist.

thumb and index finger will suddenly contract and move inwards towards my palm. is this twitching, tremor or what?  it happens after i use my hand

Muscle cramp/spasm: A sudden cramp in your fingers can cause this  If all your fingers do it it is called carpopedal spasm which can be due to a problem with calcium levels in your body. This is less likely when only 2 fingers are involved. Muscle spasms can happen if you don't do an activity much, then do it more than you you usually do. I get it when digging many holes for bulbs/plants in the fall/spring.But see MD

i have a twitching pulsing vein visible in my left palm. should i worry or is this a normal annoyance?

Accepted Answer

Pulsing in the Palm: What your describing is likely not a vein but an arteriole or small artery just below the surface of the skin in the palm.  This is normal as there are 2 arcs of branching arteries across the palm that give rise to the smaller arteries going to each finger.  The veins are more superficial and you may see these more readily, but it is the arteries pulsations that you're feeling just below.

Muscle Twitches: Muscle twitching may be due to many thing including peripheral nerve damage at the carpal tunnel for example, pinched nerve in the neck or benign fasciculation syndrome.  Best to discuss this with your doctor and perhaps referral to a specialist is in order.

Ulnar neuropathy: Injury of the ulnar nerve can cause grip weakness and tingling/ itching/ sensory changes of pinkie finger ; palmar side of hand, and possibly referred pain/ sensory loss up to forearm. Deficits ; pain of nerve injury characteristically comes and goes. Have your neurologist check you out and make recommendations. Good luck!

Possibly CTS: With your typing history, it is certainly possible for you to have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  This can give you sensory changes in the thumb, index, middle fingers.  However, you can just have pain and weakness.  Anti inflammatory medications may help as well as rest or splinting.  I would see someone to be evaluated so you can get some relief.  Good luck!

34female 51, 290lbs. fair skin. taking prilosec for 3 yrs for gerd. degenerative disc disease in neck. im having frequent sore, twitching and cold pain and darker fingers/hands. itchy and very red palms. pale tongue and lips. what could cause this?

: It appears that you should have some blood tests done to include a cbc&amp;diff,complete metabolic profile,thyroid function &amp; complete urinalysis for beginners. If you're experiencing menstrual irregularities, hormonal testing should be added. Concerns in your case would also include high estrogen levels to explain very red palms. Associated itching could mean allergies are at play too. Taking meds?
