First, vomiting or diarrhea in a two year old can quickly become serious. Sounds like your nephew is dehydrated. I would have him see his pediatrician tomorrow, especially if he has a fever higher than 101.

A healthcare provider can diagnosis flushing after an exam. Since facial flushing  can be from a medical problem or allergy additional test may be necessary to determine the cause of the symptom. some causes include:alcohol,allergy,drugs,emotions,food additives,weather, to name a few

It depends on what is really going on and should be seen by a doctor. It could be contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, Lupus, Rosacea, and other etiologies. Each condition would be approached a little different in regards to work-up and treatment.

Genetic plays a major role in the health and appearance of your skin/nails/hair. If you were born with not so good skin and nails, likely they will remain so. If  you had had good skin before and now not so, you may get that back with getting healthy--eat a healthy, balanced diet, sleep adequately, drinking plenty of fluids, and exercise regularly will help. Have you been to your regular doctor and had an evaluation? At 18, i wonder if your menstrual cycle is regular, you are getting enough iron in your diet and if you are not simply anemic due to your avoidance of meats. Sounds like classic anemia but get it checked out and be safe first and foremost.

Are you paler now than you used be? If yes, you could be anemic. Anemia in women of your age is usually due to menstrual blood loss and taking iron and multivitamin supplement may help. 
It would be prudent to see your doctor for an in-person evaluation.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
