Veins: Superficial signs of venous insufficiency are very different than deep vein thrombosis. Get an appointment by a periferovascular surgeon for a better exam an opinion.

my 16 yr daughter has a painful vein up side of ankle gp checked it + said its ok but now it's gone further up her leg? gp gave her some cream

See a vascularsurgeo: Painful veins going up the side of the leg are quite unusual, especially in a 16 year old. The two most obvious concerns are infection and a clot in a vein. I suggest you have your daughter see a vascular surgeon.

i have varicose / spider veins worsening in my ankles /feet. it is extremely painful at night. i am 34 years old and drive a lot. what can i do to help for pain or what procedure can i do?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may try compression socks/stocking available without prescription. If that does not help it would be prudent to see your doctor.

Be seen: I would definitely be seen.  Potential concerns that could cause this would include fluid retention due to a kidney, cardiac, pulmonary, or blood pressure problem.  I would sure be seen.

Foot pain: Many active patients that have a tendency to pronate or wear flat sandals/shoes will end up with a tendonitis in the inside of their ankle and foot.  There are many great conservative and surgical treatment options that really help patients out. Take it easy and best wishes!

Complicated: A little unusual to say that you feet/ankles are painful with swelling...swelling is common but often painless. Most serious causes of swelling would be heart failure (unusual at your age), kidney, liver disease. Could be problems with veins (poor valves causing sluggish return of blood to heart). Reviewed your meds...see no reason to suspect them. Need good evaluation...start with primary care

i have had a painful mass in my right ankle for the past few months. i saw a gp last year, and he sent me for a sonar, the results were vascular structures in area? varicose veins or av malformation. i have no idea what this means?

Previous injury: I would need more info did you previously injure yourself? It could be do to a hematoma secondary to trauma. If not then if it does not reduce in size soon then you should see a Podiatrist and maybe have a biopsy or a MRI

dropped glass on my foot & a piece of it made a small puncture. swollen vein & painful. ice & elevated but goes back when i stand up. what do i do?

Inflammation: will certainly occur with an injury. Ice early, elevation then warmth later.
The problem is that this presupposes that the injury Stopped occurring. If there is continuing injury, it's going to stay inflamed.
Infection OR a retained shard of glass will keep the area inflamed until it is treated.
Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health
