Pain: Surgery results in scar tissue visible on the skin but also inside the abdominal/pelvic cavity. We refer to this as adhesions. Adhesions can be the source of pain. See your doctor.

Pain post c/s: Would follow up with your Ob. Are you having fever? discharge?Burning with urination? difficulty with bowel movements? difficulty with sex? Could be a number of causes like post -op infection(uterus/vaginal), urinary tract infection, constipation or what is known as adhesions - after surgery there is scarring and it can cause pain sometimes.

No: It is not normal to have painful sex, regardless of what happens the day after. People are supposed to have pain-free sex. One's primary care doctor can evaluate the pain symptoms.

Among the possible causes are infection of the pelvic organs and/or infection of the kidneys, bladder or urinary tract.  It is an urgent matter which needs immediate attention. Endometriosis: And maybe some other things.  You need to be evaluated by an OB/GYN doctor.  A thorough history, physical exam and imaging is a good idea.  However, endometriosis is in my differential right now.
