Lump: It is probably an enlarged lymph node and likely benign. It could be  a cyst of some kind, but thats less likely. Why was it xrayed twice? See your pediatrician. The baby should be examined for other "lumps" particularly in both axillae, groin, and opposite neck area. I would check the baby's CBC to make sure the white count wasn't ominous.

Cyst: Sebaceous cysts are the commonest skin swellings that can be painful and tender. Examination by a physician can make a diagnosis and it can be excised in the office.

Get it checked: Most likely these are lymph nodes from an infection in your arm or armpit.  However, lymph nodes can be more serious and although you are young you should have an exam, x-ray and mammogram to be sure it is not dangerous.  Good luck!

Supraclavicular lump: What you describe might be one of several things, including a lipoma, cyst or a lymph node.  Cancer is possible, specifically Hodgkin&#x27;s lymphoma given your age, although enlarged lymph nodes in Hodgkins are more often painless.  Other cancers would be less likely.  Make an appointment to see your doctor so that it can be evaluated.  Overall odds are that it is not going to be something serious.

Lymph node: There are thousands of lymph node located around the body that help screen out germs in the body serum. There are many in the neck, head ; behind the ear. At rest these are often 1/4 inch in diameter and may grow to marble sized when reacting to a stimulus. Bug bites, or viral infections can increase their size.They should shrink  down to nl size over a few wks if pain not gone then have it chkd.

Hard to say: Hard to say.  The clavicle articulates with the sternum medially.  Sometimes the sternoclvicular joint can beome quite enlarged, often from an injury or an arthritic condition.  This might be what you are describing. An exam and possibly an xray can usually determine the cause.  Thank you for your question.
