Pop in knee: There are a variety of explanations but this is most likely related to cartilage or tendons. Although a physical examination may determine the cause, an MRI will likely establish the diagnosis. Splinting with supervised therapy may be an option or surgery (arthroscopic or open) may be indicated.

Medial Knee Pain: Could be a torn meniscus if the pain is at the knee joint.  This requires an orthopedist to evaluate. However, if the pain is just below the knee, about 1 -1 1/2 inches, and medial, this would be a pes anserine (duck foot) bursitis.  Use ice and Aleve (naproxen) or see the ortho for a cortisone injection.

Tingling: If you have had these symptoms for a year and they are usually associated with walking I would think some type of irritation to your popliteal nerve would be likely. Swelling to knee, tendon irritation, Bakers Cyst. Vascular problem possible too.
