i have some general pain in what i believe is my kidney (on back, left side towards rib cage) when i lay in a certain way, it goes away. is this norm?

Likely muscular: The pain is likely to be musculo-skeletal and not due to kidney. From what you described it does not seem to be of concern. Exercising may help tone and loosen the muscles. You may take a over the counter pain medication if needed.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

i have a constant twitch under my right rib for two days now. it's towards the top of my rib. i notice it more when i sit or lay. i am 27 and a smoker?

Lymph node: This sounds like an inflamed lymph node similar to the ones you get in the neck when fighting off an infection in the head or neck.

if i'm sitting down and leaning towards the right than go to lean back towards the left a little, it feels like my insides go over top of my left rib cage and ut hurts so i push it back down and i'm fine. but it happens often. what is it?

Hiatal Hernia: You may have strained or stretched the ligaments that hold the diaphragm to the bottom of the rib cage. Should a tear or rupture occur the contents of the abdomen can be pushed up into the thorax. I would get checked carefully!

i have a numbness/ tingling sensation under my low left ribs toward the middle of my body when i lay down on my side. no pain. 3-4 months.

Nerve: This could be a pinched nerve that is aggravated in certain positions. If you are not extremely bothered by it, there is no need to seek urgent care. If you see rash in the area, then I would see an M.D. as it could be shingles. The tingling with shingles though, is not usually intermittent or position dependent.
