1conditions in chest wall like trauma, inflammation in bones or muscles like costocondritis  or  intercostal neuritis
2from lungs and pleura like pleurisy, pneumonia, cancer, pulmonary embolus
3rarely referred pain frm heart due to angina;mi
4gastro esophageal reflux disease;esophagitis
5gall bladder conditions 
so get it checked.

have a sharp pain right side of chest when leaning back . no pain when not moving .  what could it be im a male ?

CHEST PAIN: Sounds like musculoskeletal chest wall pain. If you are a healthy young man with no known history of cardiac or lung issues, I would not be concerned. Should resolve within the next several days, but if not, or if the symptoms worsen, follow up with your doctor or consider a trip to emergency.  You may consider an anti-inflammatory medication.

Probably muscular: Try OTC anti inflammatory agent like ibuprofen for. DY or so. If still hurts, go to urgent care for evaluation. Feel better:)

Consult your GP: Pain right side and numbness in arm,even if right sided can be angina. Also peptic ulcer disease and stress can cause this symptoms. Will need to visit your GP for the right diagnosis.

Many things: Near the lower right side, are kidney, liver, gall bladder, duodenum,  part of pancreas, large bowel as well as lower lung. For instance but not all inclusive, infection or trauma to kidney, liver; colitis distending large bowel; pancreatitis and gastritis; gall bladder disease, infection in lung, traumatic or inflammatory changes in bones. You should consult your physician for workup.
