Obstipation?: Normal bowel frequency varies from 1 every 3-4 days to 3-4 movements per day. Many "normal" people alternate their stool pattern within this range. What you describe is outside the range, but your prior baseline stool pattern defines how alarming (or not)your current infrequency may be. Ileus, blockage, ischemia is considered if fever, tenderness, distension, bleeding, vomiting. Get checked/help.

having intermittent intense pain around stomach area, down my sides and underneath ribs almost labor like,  a burning feeling to it also. i feel bloated bowel movement didn't ease pain. had an episode like this a few months ago. what could this be?

Stomach pain: Intense upper abdominal pain has various causes such as acute gastritis(inflammation of the stomach lining), pylorospasm, pancreatitis,gall stone or gall bladder inflammation, peptic ulcer or gastric ulcer. Look for triggers like fatty or spicy foods, alcohol, excessive caffeine.Medications. Get examined during an episode so that appropriate testing can be done.

ive been taking amoxicillin for a toothache the worsen overnight and naproxen for the pain ive been taking these meds since wednesday night and thursday night i been feeling pain n my stomach area i havent had a bowel movement passing gas a little?

Toothache: Antibiotic should help contain the infection, but treatment (root canal or extraction) is the only cure. Continue with antibiotic until all are taken. Try to schedule dental treatment for just before antibiotic runs out. Antibiotics and analgesics can irritate stomach and change elimination pattern. Be sure to take meds w a full 8oz of water to ease the GI symptoms.

Abdominal pain: Severe abdominal pain and nausea followed by a bowel movement may be due to an intestinal viral infection, but if abdominal pain persists or worsens, you must be evaluated by your physician to rule out things like gall bladder inflammation, gastritis, peptic ulcer, pancreatitis,colitis.

Bowel Blood Flow: I had a similar case before, which with vague symptoms, was hard to discover , But could be IBS, Transposition of the Superior and Inferior Mesenteric  artery / veins ; Duodenal Ulcer ; etc.  Need a complete GI workup

: Need to keep good food diary stool diary. Share with your Dr including pictures to find cause and then treat cause.  First issue would be gallbladder.  Especially if others in family have had GB issues.

“upper left stomach sharp pain” could be due to Gastritis or Ulcer. Alcohol can aggravate Gastritis.

: Irritable bowel syndrome probably is most likely, but conceivably inflammatory bowel disease. Discuss with your doctor.

Accepted Answer

Sweating: Have you checked your temperature and your blood pressure? Is your pulse rate high? Have you started to drop to the ground as you stand up? Any one or combination of these suggests going to the Emergency Room. If things are not that advanced see your PCP.
