why is there severe pain in thigh bones during periods?

The question of : Referred pain can be difficult.  If recent then may have more going on.  I would start with the pill to limit menses but it sounds like you have what we call dysmenorrhea, painful periods.  If you have bad mood symptoms, especially insomnia and daytime fatigue, the pain is generally worse; not excluding a physical diagnosis such as uterine enlargement or endometriosis, but pain is linked 2 mood.

Thigh pain: If it is in the area where pressure has been placed on it, probably not. If it goes away, then it is most likely OK. If it persists or worsens, then it should be evaluated.

?pulled muscle: At your age most common is a pulled muscle. But it can be caused by other things. Since you are already taking  inuprofen which seems has not resolved it, I am concerned. Better to be seen by your doctor and examined.
