Poss viral infection: These symptoms suggest infection. If your urine infection was actually cured, then worry about viral infection like herpes or atypical bacterial infection like mycoplasma or chlamydia. Check with your doctor. All of these are treatable.

For men it is: unusual to get a urinary tract infection, but it can still happen.  Or infection of the vas deferens/epidydimus which can be STD related.  Or a prostate problem, which can only be diagnosed with an experienced healthcare provider.  Please see one to get proper diagnosis and treatment.

Get checked.: If you're sexually active, we worry about STDs like chlamydia and gonorrhea.  These are both treatable illnesses.  Sometimes guys can develop a urethritis (inflammation of the urethra) from trauma or exposure to spermacides, lubricants or other chemicals.  Bottom line, you should get it checked out!  good luck!

: With these symptoms and non revealing diagnostic results, I assume you have been followed by a urologist. So I wonder what the preliminary diagnosis you were told. If you have not seen a urologist, you need to see one. Because of high residual bladder volume and if it is confirmed, you will need further investigation. Your pain is consistent with chronic pelvic pain syndrome but not high residual.
