i have a terrible throbbing pain in one spot on left side of head. a terrible pressure on left side. dizziness. feeling sick and struggling to stay away. i've had it four days now. worried it is a stroke coming on or a bleed?

Hard to say: The usual question that people are concerned about is whether this might be a manifestation of a brain tumor or an aneurysm. This is not the usual presentation for these entities. However, it is a good idea to observe this and take notes that you can present to your doctor to help him/her figure this out. The nature of the pain, the blurred vision-what brings it on, how long does it last etc.?

Many things: Most commonly is a tension headache. This can sometimes be just one spot. Trauma is another but this i assume you would have remembered. If no other issues, it will probably go away.

Headache.: While a large number of headaches are benign, there are some clinical factors that argue towards testing being done, just to be sure.  When one gets a headache always in the same particular spot, we usually like to do some testing - blood tests and MRI of the brain - just to be sure.

A bug?: Have a friend or use a mirror to examine the scalp. The nervous system is very sensitive. If you feel something crawling there probably is something crawling.

Fordyce spots: This could be several things (that are not sexually transmitted I mean).  The first, Fordyce spots. They’re minute sebaceous glands and are part of the natural structure of many penises.  Second..Pearly papules are also normal. They are very small bumps, the same colour as your skin, but with a pearly appearance. If your concerned for herpes, or genital warts or syphilis..have a doctor look at it.

i have been diagnosed with gliosis. i get random pains in one certain spot in my head. i was wondering if there cause by the gliosis.

Gliosis and Headache: It is unlikely that the  gliosis could lead to headache. It is important to note that brain is actually insensitive to pain as it does not contain any pain fibers. The only pain sensitive structures in the brain are the blood vessels and the meninges. I think it is also important to investigate the type and the cause of your headache. Rec.: see orofacial pain or headache specialist for evaluation
