The splenic flexure-: -of the colon is on the left side under the ri the cage. The noise U hear is air passing your constipated stool &amp; is normal. When your push on the mid or left side you are purchasing stool &amp; air along, and this dilates the colon &amp; that dilates the bowel wzll &amp; this is very sensitive to pressure, so you feel pain, also a deep breath does the same thing. Add fiber &amp; drink lots of water. This helps.

Gallbladder or liver: You are describing jaundice.  Jaundice is often associated with gallstones or other causes of blockage of bile from the gall bladder.  Liver or pancreas disease can also cause similar signs and symptoms.  However, given the location of your pain and the fact that this happens intermittently, it likely represents gall bladder disease.  I would recommend an ultrasound.

Costochondritis?: Could be costochondritis, which is an inflammation of the cartilage in your rib cage. If it persists, you should err on the side of caution and see your doctor.

?broken rib: If you are lucky..If it hurts to push directly on a rib that is most likely diagnosis. Much more serious is what could have happened if so drunk you don't remember falling. A wake up call?

No: The usual cause of superficial lump is lypoma, bony growth or neuroma.  A lypoma is usually painless, freely mobile, and remains stable over time. Bone spur is hard, fixed and tender on palpation. Neuroma may or may not painful but usually fixed.  Just monitor for changes in size, superficial ulceration, changes in color and if any suspicious change talk to your PCP.

Many things: Gastritis, muscle pain, acid reflux are a few things that come to mind. Diagnosis of abdominal pain is complicated and requires a lot more information besides location.
