Neck pain: Muscle tension can cause this pain. You should be evaluated by an osteopath, chiropractor, or consider massage.

Stress: Good day; Is there any aspect of your life that may be in conflict. Work related concerns, interpersonal relations, family problems. One or all of these areas could cause pain on side of skull or stomach distress.

"Closer to"?: By "closer to" do you mean just behind and below your earlobes? Do you mean your mastoid processes? If so, they've been there your whole life. Odd that you didn't notice them till now. Look at some diagrams of skull anatomy.

Well: You may have just pulled a muscle condition called torticolis. Sometimes it comes on suddenly after a night sleep. Sometimes from exercise, if does not improve in a few days go see a doctor. U could have some reactive lymph nodes in the area...

a hard lump on the lower right part of back of skull. it sometimes has a dull pain and doesn't grow. i've had it for a long while now. what is it?

Many Possibilities: There are a large number of possibilities.  If it isn't growing and doesn't seem tender or painful, then it likely is not an aggressive problem.  However, you should talk to your primary doctor about getting imaging or going to see a Neurosurgeon

can a having a fractured skull as an infant cause lower iq later in life?

Depends: The crack itself does not mean a kid will suffer diminished performance later on. Some babies have relatively simple  fractures from falls or incidental trauma & don't mess up the brain inside. Some may suffer brain injury to a minor or major degree & the potential outcome depends on the amount & location of brain injury involved. The quicker the recovery the less likely an impact on iq.

Is there a history : Of trauma or family history of arthritis. You may have arthritis of the cervical spine. I recommend you see an interventional pain specialist.

Not bad: These are a scalp cyst they feel hard like a bone,nothing to worry about.

i have 5 large round hard nots on.my head skull...they shrink ad grow..two are located on lower neck area and when i tern my neck sometimes i get shooting/shocking pain like something is getting cauhht up in my neck...what could this be iv had thes nots f

Probably lymph nodes: We have over 300 chains of lymph nodes on our heads/necks, and it's likely that what you're noticing is a few nodes that have been irritated and swollen up, and now are remaining big; this doesn't necessarily mean they are infected; sometimes the nodes get large when they are just doing their job. But if they work hard all the time, they stay large and you notice them.
