Rheumatism: You are describing SI joint pain and some signs of systemic disease. SI joint is frequent in RA but the hands are the most diagnostic. Multiple joints affected is the hallmark of RA.  Still, there are many other forms of systemic arthritis.  I would be suspicious but the diagnosis would be incomplete.  Give it a few months to check progression.  Meanwhile, intelligent exercise is the key.

Don't drive -Exam!: Try to avoid driving till this is resolved - seek an exam to discover cause and plan treatment. It could be a muscle/nerve irritation that physical therapy can help or a lower GI issue or UTI symptom or.... An exam will be a good start. If constipated, treat that (water, prunes, veggies). Psoas and other buttock/hip/groin muscles can do this. Best!

i've just upped my dosage of topamax (topiramate) to 25mg twice a day and have started to experience groin pain. why could this be? do i need to worry? or just car

May be related: There is an increased incidence of kidney stones with Topamax (topiramate) use. Get a UA ( check for blood in urine ) and keep well hydrated. See your doctor. The groin pain may or may not be linked to use of low dose Topirimate.

I would be concerned: About a deep hip issue such as a landslide tear or femoral head issue such as arthritis or AVN. I would see and ortho doc and get a hip X-ray to rule out the bad stuff. If it is normal may need to look at tendons and nerve issues

Driver's Tingle: Rule out systemic conditions: ie., diabetes, RA, anemias, etc. The possibility of being in the seated position for extended and prolonged time, and the flexion of your foot on gas/brake pedals. The sciatic nerve passes from your back (spine issues) on down to the toes. It branches at the knee and after a while sitting can be vulnerable to compression and produce symptoms described. Male ? Female ?: If female- One option is a vaginal cream, ointment, suppository for several days  (7 to 14 days sometimes). Some people require maintenance tx. Physician could prescribe Diflucan which is an oral antifungal medication that is taken once (occasionally needs multiple doses for complicated cases).

GROIN INJURY: Sounds like a strain (tendon injury); likely near the muscle insertion into the bone (typically where the tendon fibers are thinnest).
