Fold in the pleura: This is usually caused by a transient fold in the pleura, the lining of the inside of the chest wall.  It is a non-problem.  If it becomes much worse or is persistent, an office visit is appropriate to rule out spontaneous pneumothorax.

Absolutely: Coughing and sneezing both depend upon forceful small muscle contractions in the chest wall.  It is typical for these to exacerbate musculoskeletal chest pain.  Hope you feel better!

Musculoskeletal : Your discomfort sounds musculoskeletal, not heart. It could be due to a muscle strain/sprain, inflammation, etc. If the pain does not get better in a few days, see your doctor for evaluation and treatment. Good luck!!!

Your : Your symptoms are concerning for bronchitis or pneumonia.  If you are experiencing chest pain with cough, you should be medically evaluated. If you get fever or shortness of breath then you must be seen as an emergency.

see below: You describe pleurisy or pericarditis. Sometimes intercostal muscular pain can mimic this. If the pain is worse lying down, improved sitting up/forward, it suggest pericarditis. If you have fever/cough, shortness of breath, it suggests pneumonia with pleural involvement. Were your chest xray and ct done recently/for this illness? A cxr, CBC and echo are usual parts of the evaluation.

Pleurisy: You have classic pleurisy symptoms. This is an infection which can be due to virus, bacteria or mycoplasma. If you've been coughing a lot, you could have a muscular component as well now. If your chest x-ray is clear, you will get better gradually. Take Ibuprofen or Naproxen and be patient. If you haven't had a chest xray, consult your doctor to see if it's necessary after you're examined.

Non cardiac: Did  you hurt yourself? Did you have fever or cold ? If you did not, so It is probably a muscleesqueletal pain which usually improve taking anti inflammatory such ibuprofen .
