Podagra: you likely have an attack of Podagra. Best will be either steroids or Colchicine, depending on your comorbidities and response to previous treatment. Your uric acid will have to be addressed with maintenance therapy later.

Not directly. Tho --: The nerve injury can affect the whole leg resulting in weakness, inability to stand on it. Such situation can cause a fall or injury with pain/swelling of joints of the foot/ankle/knee. Torn acl is not particularly associated with nerve injury.

Knee Pain: This is certainly possible. Changes in your gait to compensate for you knee pain could cause pain else where. You should however pose this question to your ortho physician to be sure this is the cause.

What did you do: Tap on the tibia and see if vibration causes pain.  If yes, need x-ray.  If no, sit on chair wit bad ankle across other knee(figure 4).  Gently draw the alphabet with bad foot.  Focus on letters that hurt.  Two times a day for three days, if no better, see a doctor.

the past few days i've had pain in my outer ankle and foot area. it's not severe, but uncomfortable. only hurts when walk or stretch. my calf is numb?

Possibly neuralgia.: The area you are describing is pretty much the same area that the sural nerve is located. The symptoms can include pain, burning, numbness on the outside of the ankle and foot as well as numbness of the calf. The cause can vary. Included is ankle sprain or pressure to the outer leg or knee. Massaging the area helps sometimes but if the symptoms increase it should be evaluated by a specialist.

Overuse: Overuse.
If you spent more time than usual on your feet you may have created an overuse syndrome.

Ankle pain: Please consider seeing your provider for an evaluation and a possible repeat X-ray of the ankle and/or possibly a bone scan to help detect fractures that are difficult to see on a plain X-ray

Ankle: It should be resolving by now a hairline fracture is a definite possibility specially if there is still swelling you  would need imaging eg MRI for diagnosis

Not sure: There are lots of reasons why people retain fluid including heart and/or kidney problems. You need some basic tests to find the reason you are retaining fluid.
