girlfriend has nail fungus 2 yrs.ago currently taking terbinafine. she has crohn's and a compromised immune system plus on medication for ra. i had nail fungus more than a year ago. she says it is contagious and then i gave it to her. i didn't. help?

: She will believe what she wants. You may just be an easy person to vent on so consider it a side effect of the relationship. The facts are that you can acquire fungal spores from people/pets/dirt/other environment. They grow so insidiously it is hard to pin down where they came from.

Depends: Mid to high potency steroid ointments are often required. Fluocinonide and clobetasol are good representatives.

Rotator cuff: Start with some easy exercises to work the muscles of the shoulder blade that the rotator cuff attaches to. This will take some of the strain off the cuff.  Use a rag and wipe a surface in the numbers of a clock face from the center up to 12:00 then back to center then 1:00 and so on. Start on a flat table top and gradually work your way up to a mirror or other vertical surface. Motrin may help.

my husband had been diagnosed with lupus and renaud phenomenon in his hands...he is in pain all day long...what medications help control pain all day?

Depends: For raynaud's sometimes we use conservative measures such as keeping warm and medications such as calcium channels.

For pain from lupus arthritis, we use medicines  such as hydroxychloroquine, methotrexate, Benlysta (belimumab) and others.

However; his pain could be other things such as osteoarthritis.   Talk to his docotr about his symptoms to see what medication he is a candidate for.

i wake up drenched in sweat and my hands covered in wrinkles this has been going on along while now, the only medication i'm on is setrailine ?

Possible side effect: The antidepressants can cause you to sweat more and that is the likely answer, but night sweats are associated with other conditions, see your doctor for a check up.  He/she will likely check a few labs and order a PPD (TB) test for you.

AtLeast It'sNot Hair: It would be helpful to know what types of medication you've tried (pills, creams,lotions,gels,tinctures, powders,ointments,abrasives,steam,axle grease,flame thrower,chlorosulfonic acid...). Also what kind of work you do. Are your hands wet a lot? Or are they dry, chapped and cracked in between those "pimples." And are they really pimples or little fluid-filled bumps? If so check with your doctor.

Yes but: yes but it depends what you do for a living 
If you are on a computer or you use a keyboard you might having the beginning of carpel tunnel syndrome 
Take ibuprofen and wear a wrist splint and take a break from your job

This : This is an interesting question. A group of neurologists at emory university several years ago studied the occurence of low testosterone in men with parkinsonism. It is unlikely that it is related to your medication but is correctable. Discuss this with your primary care doctor who will check you for levels of other hormones to determine whether there is pituitary gland dysfunction or just low testosterone.
