: Chest pain has to be worked up in ER due to its potential of being heart related. While in the majority of cases a heart attack is ruled out, for few having access to proper and fast treatment is life saving. Your symptoms may or may not be related to medrol dosepak.

i quit smoking 2 wks ago i smoked less than a pack/day for 3yrs,before i quit i began to feel a slight chest pain that occurs 4/5 times a day mostly in the left side of my chest and it disappears in 1or2 mins no cough no tightness and it didn't stop.

Smoking &amp; Chest pain: Please start w/a visit to your doctor to rule out any possible medical conditions.  Then continue on w/freeing yourself from smoking and keep up the good work.  Peace and good health.  Please don't let this be an excuse to start smoking again.

Very likely: You feel guilty about your smoking and sounds like you have a history of anxiety which can lead to lightheadedness, nausea and chest pain.  Rather than worrying about your health,  do something positive about it! quit smoking asap!

Concerning: Any middle age male with acute onset non-familiar chest pain and "heartburn"-like symptoms needs an urgent physician evaluation of the heart to rule out heart attack.

can diane35 cause chest pain, fatigue, anxiety attacks? i am on 3rd pack and symptoms occur everyday. is it okay to stop diane mid cycle? i have pcos.

Yes: Yes it can, but unwise to stop without consulting your doctor, especially mid pack

doc gave me medrol (methylprednisolone) pack for possible ms relapse. have had the iv drip many times. it always gives me chest pain on breathing in. how can i combat this?

Advice: If you do indeed have a true ms relapse, a Medrol (methylprednisolone) dosepak lacks sufficient impact to really reverse it, but both oral and intravenous approaches will work.  Just need much higher dosing level.  Maybe you would tolerate Prednisone or acthar better.  Discuss with your doctor.

Yes: Although it would be very rare for a 25 year old to have a "heart attack, " you are sure setting yourself up with your lifestyle habits for problems later in life.  Tiny small chest pains should be evaluated by your doctor.
