what oxygen level is required for normal breathing in a child?

Depends on age...: Pulse oximetry is a standard mechanism to determine fairly accurately (most of the time) the oxygen saturation of the blood. The desirable saturation level varies based on infant/child age and multiple other considerations such as chronic lung disease, heart defects, body temperature, etc. However, for most children most of the time, we prefer seeing the level in the mid to upper 90's.

my neighbor says nattokinase and serrapeptase makes him feel like not enough oxygen reaches his brain..normal breathing, though. why is this?

Enzymes: Nattokinase, derived from fermented soybean paste (natto), is eaten in japan. It has anti-coagulant effects and is said to be effective in amyloid forming tissues, but unproven for human disease. Serrapeptase is from serratia sp e-15 and said to have anti-inflammatory effects. Why is your neighbor taking either of these unproven substances. Have no idea why they would produce the effect he claims.

Many: Most people with asthma have normal oxygen level and would be those who hyperventilate.    See your doctor to find out.

: Absolutely, that’s why the resuscitation protocol includes intubation and mechanical ventilation in the algorithm.

i've had covid i'm on day 11 i'm otherwise fit and healthy and not overweight, my oxygen level is normal but i feel like i'm heavy breathing like it's not natural. if i try to breath through my nose it's difficult i have to open my mouth?

: Nasal saline rinses may relieve congestion. It may take a few weeks to feel back to your usual state. If you are short of breath, an imaging study is recommended. Monitor temperature and breathing. Please follow up with your physician.

Doubt cancer but...: If you have a new mass on the spine then you would need an MRI because it's likely something that could be cancer. However, cancers don't commonly arise there and nor are they painful so I would say it's less likely that and more likely some sort of spasm.

what are the best breathing exercises for chronic hyperventilation syndrome? i need to restore normal co2 and o2 levels in my lungs. it's very hard.

Earlier answer: Treat the anxiety problem to decrease hyperventilation and do frequent rebreathing in a paper bag like a lunch bag to increase co2. The only other way would be to increase the precursor of co2 which is bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) by taking calcium carbonate (tums) or acetate.

: Oxygen level of 95 (I assume breathing room air, not supplemental oxygen) is fine.  No where near needing a ventilator.  However, if oxygen level drops below 90 see a doctor - promptly
