i have had nexplanon since 10/2014. last period was 5/20. 2 neg preg tests, but experiencing symptoms. overweight/obese. could i be pregnant?

Tests are accurate: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.

is it normal to not feel pregnant during the 2nd trimester? all my symptoms from the 1st is gone but also overweight and not many symptoms now in 2nd.

Normal: You are lucky not to have any bad symptoms!  How women feel during the second trimester of pregnancy is highly variable.  Some feel energized and happy; others are tired and blue.   The way you are feeling is probably normal for you.  Keep up with your pre-natal care and you should be fine!  Best wishes!

i am 23 and have not had a period in over a year. not pregnant, overweight, or any weird symptoms at all..i actually feel great! what could be wrong ?

Hormonal, anatomic: Secondary amenorrhea refers to absence of menstruation, after previous onset at normal age. Anatomic exam and scans (ultrasound or ct) can assess for obstructive processes. Hormonal testing can  assess for thyroid and pituitary dysfunction, excessive prolactin, and excessive androgens (either from ovary or adrenal) among others. These hormone problems prevent regular menses. Should get check up!

my 14 yo girl has tsh .90, t3 (liothyronine) 4.55, t4 14. had loads of hypo symptoms inc overweight, cold, tired, ovarian cysts, mood swings etc etc. bloods normal??

Blood: It seems as if your daughter should be evaluated by an endocrinologist ND gynecologist to evaluate or a pituitary disorder.  There are too many  and I wonder whether he has Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Many: Overweight is a classification based on what is considered healthy body weight.  A bmi > 25 (while it has flaws) is calculated based on your height and weight.  There are many social, emotional, and physical effects of being overweight including increased risk for high blood pressure, coronary problems, diabetes, stroke, joint pain, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and stigma to name a few.

Diabetes: Diabetes symptoms vary depending on how much your blood sugar is elevated. Some people, especially those with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, may not experience symptoms initially. In type 1 diabetes, symptoms tend to come on quickly and be more severe.Symptoms:increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, blurred vision, slow healing sores, extreme hunger, unexplained weight loss.

Implanon: Some women have very mild to no periods on Implanon.  That is normal.  Not sure what your weird symptoms are.  Please explain further.

Yes: Your thyroid hormone contributes significantly to your metabolic rate. So any abormality that affects your thyroid function can significantly affect your metabolism. This can to an increase in weight.
