Get tested: Symptoms related to a low thyroid are nonspecific.  You can have all, some, or none of them and still have a thyroid problem.  On the other hand, many people who have symptoms that sound like thyroid, have no thyroid problem at all.  The best thing is to see your doctor about these symptoms, get thyroid blood tests: tsh, free t4.

have generalized anxiety disorder and experiencing cold hands and feet. thyroid checkd tsh=0.848 and all heart test came back fine. is this anxiety?

Hard to say,,: This TSH result is in normal range so it's not technically anything to do with your thyroid, and the cold hands and feet might be due to some physical issue like circulation or raynaud's phenomenon which can be from cold, stress, or an autoimmune issue like lupus.  So it's possible anxiety is a component but there can be other factors so see the doctor for more tests and your heart test results.

If symptoms have been going on for a week, it's doctor time. She should write down the sequence of events, from when they started, and include what medications were tried, plus what makes symptoms better and what makes them worse,  and give the information to her doctor.

Possible: 51 but I know little about U. Atenolol is B.P. &amp; B-Blocker med which lowers heart rate.  If U have atherosclerosis affecting major blood vessels, Atenolo decreases blood flow to areas affected, esp distal extremities. Why do U take Atenolol &amp; what other meds taken. Atherosclerosis comes esp from Diabetes,HTN, High Cholesterol, Smoking. Atenolol does not affect brain signif, but low blood flow can.
