Needs evaluation: There are many things that can cause this so an examination is warranted. Yeast infections are common and can be treated with an over the counter yeast cream. Poor lubrication during intercourse can to. Try using KY or astroglide and spending more time on foreplay during intercourse.

Allow the chafed area to heal naturally and wash with an antibacterial soap.
