: I assume you are using ear removal drops like debrox. Maybe it needs more time or your canals need manual addition, there could be an infection, nerve problem, . There are other possibilities . See a doctor

Possibly: If the expiration date is somewhere is the last year probably. Why are using them again? If you are using them again with out having seen the doctor , I would not do that. If you are using them with his /her advice then go ahead. If you are going to use them, do not use them longer than five days without improvement. If the condition still exist see your doctor of ir there is pain or swelling also

Depends on direction: There should be directions printed on the bottle as to how long to use them.  For example, use for 10 days, or until bottle gone.  If you are unsure, check with your physician who prescribed them.

Probably fine: If the ear drops are not cloudy or clumped and have been stored where it is cool, then you almost certainly have not done any harm.  There might be a small lowering of the effectiveness if the drops were antibiotics but probably have enough effectiveness to do what you want.

Use after swimming: A few drops of swim ear or 70% alcohol can be put in the ears to help any water that is in the ear evaporate faster after swimming.
