i have one leg swollen but sometimes they switch - one leg swollen and then the other - what causes this?

Pigmentary changes: Difficult to say without seeing. Commonly brown discoloration can occur over the skin after  inflammation has subsided and healing is occuring in areas of previous rashes. This phenomenon is known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (pih).  On lower legs this can occur after developing chronic stasis dermatitis. Pih usually improves with time.

i have about 7 mosquito bites. one on my leg is bright red and quarter size. it's not swollen just red?

Relax: Mosquito bites are red and itchy. Hydrocortisone cream will help. More potent, prescription steroid creams are more effective. You can also rub with a wet (not coated!) aspirin. Antihistamine may help: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is a sleeping pill. Claratin, Allegra, Zyrtec are preferred with little or no sedation. Generics are equivalent and cheaper.

why is one of my legs bigger than the other? it is swollen and when you press on it, you leave an indentation in the skin. what causes this?

Edema: I don't know what your risk factors are for edema. Have you had this medically assessed yet?

Possibly : There are many things that are possible causes of one swollen leg, so it is important not to presume that it has to be cancer.  The best thing to do is to see your doctor and get things checked out so that you know exactly what the cause of the swelling is.

This is most likely a bite of some sort; possibly insect bite with Stinger still in place. Take OTC Benadryl right away and go see the PCP or ER physician to examine, and treat  appropriately.

my daughter said she fell and landed awkwardly on her ankle at school, i assessed her ankle and it was a tiny bit swollen. she seems to be struggling with walking. she has been hopping on one leg ever since. what should i do?

: Have her seen. Some sprains require as much therapy as breaks and untreated breaks or sprains can have long lasting impairment.

Post-thrombotic snd: The first concern is that you may have a recurrence of your clot, however more likely you now have some degree of venous insufficiency -- damage to the valves in your veins from the original clot. This is easily treated by compression stockings, but you will need an ultrasound first.

i had nerve test done on my legs 3 weeks ago.  one leg is still swollen and hurts in one area.  the doctor put a band aide there when i left.

Infection: is possible!!! Contact the Physician who did the test ASAP or your Primary Care Physician or go to an Urgent Care Center...In the meantime HOT WET COMPRESSES may be helpful

i have been experiencing leg pain, almost in my groin area on one side and a swollen lymph node on the other side, it seems to be shrinking now?

Varies : There are a number of possible causes, consider being seen.  The lymph nodes are a filtering system, and lymph nodes can often become enlarged when a person develops an infection.  Because there is an increased amount of nodes in the groin, this can cause pain and swelling in the groin.  There are many other possible causes as well.

my skin is blistering severely & when i get in a vinegar bath my skin just fallsoff one leg is swollen and right below my innerankle is turning black?

See details: You need to see a doctor and have the issue evaluated as soon as possible. Blackening of skin could mean serious infection or a compromise of circulation.
