Yes: Even though it has fda approval for tension headaches, it can also be used for migraine ha.  Not my first choice. Imitrex (sumatriptan) is more effective.

Yes: Yes, Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) has caffeine in it but normally the butalbital has a sleeping effect.  Some people react opposite to the original effects.

Not recommended: Patients who are addicted to Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) and other barbiturates are psychologically dependent on these drugs. They have a persistent craving for barbiturates and their lives revolve around procuring and using them. They often exhibit drug-seeking behavior.

15 to 30 minutes: Take fiorcet as prescribed by your doctor, usually 4 to 6 hours and  no more than 6 tablets in a 24-hour period. Pain medications work best if they are used as the first signs of pain occur. If you wait until the pain has worsened, the medication may not work as well. Good luck.

It is dangerous: Fioricet is extremely dangerous, because butalbital can stop someone's breathing and the Tylenol (acetaminophen) in the medication is very toxic to the liver in high doses. Always speak with your physician before taking any medication.

Yes: It is prudent to limit Fiorcet use, please keep your provider involved. If pregnant. Zofran is typically not the first choice for anti-emetics especially in early to mid pregnancy.
