Not sure: I've heard of people using tea tree oil for the treatment of lice, but i cannot comment on how successful it is. I would not use it myself.

Oregano oil/tea: This is certainly "safe", even in pregnancy, but it is not a good treatment for oral thrush.  See your family physician for an exam and more efficient treatment for thrush.

Thorough de-lousing!: With head lice, wash the hair with shampoo containg lice killing medication, usually malathion. That should kill lice but not all the eggs (nits). Wash all bedding and clothing with hot water & detergent to kill lice/eggs. Comb hair with nit comb twice daily for two weeks to prevent recurrence. One lice ; nits are: Gone - it lasts - unless you get re-infected. Reatment of lice 
requires accurate identification of nits ; / or lice. A pediculicide is usually used- otc like nix (permethrin) or rid or prescription meds like lindane or malathion. Work carefully through hair ; remove individual nits. Purchase a special lice nit comb to aid you. Check for nits ; remove as seen over the next 7 to 10 days. If there are nits after.

Incecticides: Permethrin or Malathion are the most common. They are insecticides with relatively low toxicity to humans compared with other insecticides. They are diluted as much as possible to remain effective against lice and mites, but decrease toxicity to us, compounded as lotions or shampoos, and used as medicines. Only use the prescribed form on hair or skin, never the full strength forms.

Permethrin: Permethrin cream rinse or lotion (elimite, nix, (permethrin) acticin).  May repeat in 7-10 days.  Resistant cases requires lindane or malathione prescribed by primary care doctor.

Nix (permethrin)  or Rid: I'd start with a basic otc product like nix (permethrin) cream rinse or rid.  Used as directed, they are generally effective when used in conjunction with daily combing with a nit comb.  You don't need to fumigate your home, but i would clean brush/comb with boiling water, wash and dry bedding/ clothing (hot dryer).  Items that can't be launder and dried on hot should go into a bag for 2 weeks.  Good luck.
