Nutramigen stools: Nutramigen, being a very "pre digested" formula if you will, causes stools to be loose.
The real issue is why the baby is on nutramigen. 
Consider probiotics to keep a healthy gut flora on your baby.

4 m old is on nutramigen & throws up at least 1/2 his bottle each feeding and is fussy also.  is there another brand of formula recommend instead.

An infant who is: spitting up, not gaining weight well, irritable, wheezing or having other medical problems requires an an evaluation to diagnose the cause of the vomiting. Sometimes there's a problem like reflux, a sub-mucous cleft palate or feeding issues, which don't  respond to multiple formula changes. Some infants spit up the entire  first year, but have no serious medical problems from it or that cause it.

No, there is no stud: There is a myth about milk giving more mucus. Known allergy to milk protein can cause rashes, gastro-intestinal symtoms or eczema but the nasal allergies are not well documented. Neutramigen being hypo-allergenic milk is much less likely to give symptoms. Many times patient with gerd will have increased  mucus production after spicy food or full meal and that can be attributed to food itself.I thi.

Colic: try to give him a warm bath and massage his stomach to help relieve the gas. There are studies using probiotics help tremendously with has pain. By four month most of colic improved dramatically.

What symptoms ?: I would recommend discussing this with your pediatrician.  What do you mean "suspected intolerances" - what are the symptoms? There are many "symptoms" that could erroneously be blamed on formula. Before you go and change things up, discuss the symptoms with the pediatrician - as they were the ones that started the nutramigen they will know more about what has been going on and have full details.

Infant stools: Yellow, seedy, nonbloody stools are normal in a formula fed infant.  Changing from breast to formula, or changing from one formula to another can cause changes in stool frequency and appearance.  Sudden changes in stools, if associated with irritability, bloody stools, vomiting, lethargy or any other symptom of illness should be evaluated prompty.

Growth spurt..: 2 month old infants often go through growth spurts; the caloric content of nutramigen is the same as regular enfamil.  He likely just needs more volume of formula.  Try 0.5-1 oz more in 1-3 feedings per day.  Watch for vomiting or spitting up.  Remember, the goal is to not be hungry and grow, not to fill up.

i have a 2 month old baby and for 2 weeks now her stomach is consistently making noises. they sound like regular growling, gurgling, and sometimes it can be popping noises. it can also be bubbly. shes on nutramigen. is this normal?
